Paresh Rawal appointed as chief of National School of Drama

Paresh Rawal has been appointed as the chief of the National School of Drama by President Ram Nath Kovind. Union tourism and tradition minister Prahlad Singh Patel confirmed the information. Congratulating the actor on his new place, the minister stated that artists and college students will profit from his expertise.

Rawal has been within the movie business for greater than three many years and has gained quite a few awards, together with the celebrated National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1994. In 2014, he was conferred with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for his contribution to the leisure business.
